A. Fifth District Councilmember Candidate Forum, Tuesday, February 26, 7-8:30 p.m., St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Social Hall, 10750 Ohio Avenue: request for Westwood Community

Council to co-sponsor this event along with Westwood Homeowners Association, Holmby- Westwood Property Owners Association, and other Westwood community organizations – Sandy Brown and Steve Resnick

B. Westwood Village Specific Plan: discussion and motion on Planning Department staff action to remove entire 924 Westwood Boulevard block (“Bank of America” office building, on east side of Westwood Boulevard, from Le Conte Avenue to Weyburn Avenue, including ground floor retail frontage on all three streets) from Specific Plan area, following UCLA’s purchase of the property, without any public notice or hearing, and resulting in an increase in the number of permitted fast food uses and restaurants on affected streets – Steve Sann

C. Westwood Village Tenant Mix: proposal to create Ad-Hoc Westwood Village Leasing Task Force, to explore strategies to identify and recruit desired neighborhood retail, restaurant, food, entertainment, arts, culture, neighborhood service, and other quality tenants and uses to Westwood Village in order to improve the Village, increase its shopping attractiveness to neighbors, office tenants, and university community, and to reduce existing ground floor vacancies – Carol Spencer

16. Motion to Adjourn

In accordance with its Bylaws, the Westwood Community Council (WCC) shall provide an opportunity in open meetings for the public to address items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter and jurisdiction of the WCC. Individual testimony within the Public Comment period shall be limited to two (2) minutes per person and up to ten (10 minutes per subject. However, the WCC Chair has the discretion to modify the time allotted on each subject, to each speaker, and the number of speakers per subject. Items may be called in any order at the discretion of the WCC Chair. EVERY PERSON WISHING TO ADDRESS THE BOARD DURING THE MEETING MUST COMPLETE A SPEAKER’S CARD AND SUBMIT IT TO THE CHAIR OF THE COUNCIL. The agenda is posted for public review at the Westwood Branch Public Library, 1246 Glendon Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90024, and at online. Belmont Village Westwood provides free covered self-parking in its underground garage, accessed from the driveway at 10475 Wilshire Boulevard, and also is accessible via public transportation by all bus lines serving Wilshire Boulevard. Belmont Village Westwood, including its Town Hall Community Room, is an ADA accessible facility. 3
