We are very fortunate to welcome our new LAPD Police Captain Tina Nieto, Commanding Officer at our West Los Angeles Community Police Station, who will be joining us this evening.as our guest speaker.
Captain Nieto will address our Council on current crime trends and issues in Westwood, on the Westside, as well as citywide, protocols in the aftermath of the San Bernardino tragedy, and other public safety issues. She wants to meet the leadership of our Westwood community, and hear from us about our own issues and concerns.
We have enjoyed an excellent relationship with our West LAPD, and the previous Captain Evangelyn Nathan, and are very fortunate to have Captain Nieto now leading our Police Station and public safety team on the Westside.
We will also have our regular reports from various elected officials and public agencies in our Westwood community,
In new business, we will be discussing our goals and priorities for 2016.
Finally, James Arp of Belmont Village is one again graciously hosting a Dessert Bar for tonight’s meeting, in addition to coffee, decaf and tea. So you can skip dessert when you eat dinner before tonight’s meeting, and enjoy dessert at our meeting. Thank you James!
