2017 MEETING SCHEDULE
The Westwood Community Council Board (WCC) regularly meets on the THIRD TUESDAY every other month beginning in January of each year, at 7:00 p.m. The 2017 meeting schedule is:

Belmont Village Westwood is located next to the Westwood United Methodist Church main sanctuary (east of Warner Avenue). Free covered self-parking is available at Belmont Village Westwood in its underground garage. From Wilshire Boulevard access the Belmont Village driveway (10475 Wilshire Boulevard), proceed under the overhang and turn right into the Belmont garage. Park on levels P2, P3, or P4 and take the elevator in the southwest corner of the garage up to the first floor. The Town Hall community room is located on the ground floor directly across the elevator, off the main lobby.
Belmont Village Westwood also is accessible via public transportation by all bus lines serving Wilshire Boulevard, including Metro Line 20. It is located one and one-half blocks west of the Beverly Glen stop of the Metro Rapid Bus Line 720. Belmont Village Westwood, including its Town Hall community room, is an ADA accessible facility.
WCC Board meeting agendas are posted for public review at the Westwood Branch Public Library, 1246 Glendon Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90024, and at http://www.westwoodcommunitycouncil.org online.
The WCC Bylaws also provide that Special Meetings may be called by any two officers or by a majority of all Voting Members, by giving written notice at least 24 hours in advance, to address any urgent business.
In accordance with its Bylaws, the Westwood Community Council (WCC) shall provide an opportunity in open meetings for the public to address items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter and jurisdiction of the WCC. Individual testimony within the Public Comment period shall be limited to two (2) minutes per person and up to ten (10) minutes per subject. However, the WCC Chair has the discretion to modify the time allotted on each subject, to each speaker, and the number of speakers per subject. Items may be called in any order at the discretion of the WCC Chair. EVERY PERSON WISHING TO ADDRESS THE BOARD DURING THE MEETING MUST COMPLETE A SPEAKER’S CARD AND SUBMIT IT TO THE CHAIR OF THE COUNCIL.
The WCC Executive Committee is scheduled to meet on the THIRD TUESDAY of the month, in between WCC Board meetings, whenever there is business to transact. The meeting location for the Executive Committee is Belmont Village Westwood, Town Hall community room. The 2017 Executive Committee meeting schedule is:
