2023 MEETING SCHEDULE
The Westwood Community Council Board (WCC) regularly meets on the THIRD TUESDAY every other month beginning in January of each year, at 7:00 p.m. The 2023 meeting schedule is:

Belmont Village Westwood is located at 10475 Wilshire Boulevard, next to the Westwood United Methodist Church main sanctuary (east of Warner Avenue). For guests driving a personal vehicle, free self-parking is available in the Belmont Village garage, accessed from Wilshire Boulevard. Enter driveway, proceed under the overhang, and turn right into the garage. Park on Visitor Levels P2, P3, or P4 and take the elevator or stairs located near southwest corner of the garage up to the first floor. The Town Hall community room is located on the first floor, across the elevator in the main lobby. Belmont Village is served by all bus lines on Wilshire Boulevard, including Metro Line 20 and Metro Rapid Line 720, and is located one and one-half blocks west of the Beverly Glen bus stop. Bicycle parking is located inside the Belmont garage on level P1, along the railing. Belmont Village is a fully ADA accessible facility.
*UPDATED COVID-19 PROTOCOLS AT BELMONT VILLAGE WESTWOOD: In consideration of Belmont’s sensitive population, and as a senior residential and healthcare facility, all WCC members and guests entering Belmont Village must follow their current COVID-19 protocols. As of December 2022, proof of vaccination is no longer required for entry. Visitors are still required to wear an appropriate face mask (covering the nose and mouth) in all public areas of the building, including the lobby. For meetings held in Town Hall, masks are optional, however the doors to Town Hall must remain closed except for entry and exit. Upon entry to the Lobby, guests must check in at the front desk, provide their name and phone number, and will be issued a name badge. Please allow five minutes for this check-in process.
WCC Board meeting agendas are posted for public review at the Westwood Branch Public Library, 1246 Glendon Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90024, and at http://www.westwoodcommunitycouncil.org online. WCC Bylaws also provide that Special Meetings may be called by any two officers or by a majority of all Voting Members, by giving written notice at least 24 hours in advance, to address any urgent business.
In accordance with its Bylaws, the Westwood Community Council shall provide an opportunity in open meetings for members of the public to address agenda items and non-agenda items of interest to the public that are within the subject matter and jurisdiction of the WCC. Individual testimony within the Public Comment period shall be limited to two (2) minutes per person and up to ten (10) minutes per subject. However, the WCC Chair has the discretion to modify the time allotted on each subject, to each speaker, and the number of speakers per subject. Items may be called in any order, at the discretion of the Chair. EVERY PERSON WISHING TO ADDRESS THE BOARD DURING THE MEETING MUST COMPLETE A SPEAKER’S REQUEST CARD AND SUBMIT IT TO THE CHAIR PRIOR TO THE WCC’S CONSIDERATION OF THAT ITEM.
The WCC Executive Committee is scheduled to meet on the THIRD TUESDAY of the month, in between WCC Board meetings, whenever there is business to transact. The meeting location for the Executive Committee is Belmont Village Westwood, Town Hall community room. The 2023 Executive Committee meeting schedule is:
