The recheduled meeting accommodates the schedule of our special guest presenter, Samuel Siegel.
Mr. Siegel, who is a June 2020 Masters of Urban Planning graduate from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs (and lifelong Westwood resident), devoted his Luskin “Capstone” graduate research project to an examination of Westwood Village, with a particular focus on the role that historic preservation and historic restoration in the Village can play in its revitalization, as Westwood Village reaches its Centennial in 2029.
In January our Council voted to be the official sponsor (“client”) for Sam’s Capstone research project and he promised to return to our Council to present his final report, findings, and recommendations.
Sam will complete and file his final report later this month, and will present his findings to our Council on
Wednesday, September 30th, at our Zoom Teleconference meeting.
In addition to Sam’s report, we will also have our regularly scheduled reports from government and agency officials, and conduct other regular business at that time.
